If you are looking for somewhere to just be, enjoy the company of others or find a supportive place to come here are some of the activities we run which are easily accessible to everyone.
Koffee & Kids
Our fun and supportive parent and baby/toddler group runs every Friday at Newent Community Centre starting at 9am. It’s for pre-school age kids and their parents/guardians to come, have fun and share life together. We have a movers group (toddlers) and a non-movers group (babies) in separate areas and leaders to chat to about the joys and struggles of parenting. We also run parenting courses every now and then as well as mental health support for parents. Contact us to find out more about those
This is an over 50s group that meets every 4th Thursday of the month at Newent Community Centre where we chat, eat, drink tea/coffee and make a craft (usually to support overseas charities) and hear a talk about faith. Contact Us for more information,
Breakfasts, curry nights and a healthy dose of banter! We have a regular men’s breakfast which runs on the 2nd Saturday of every month from 8am. Its a serious fry up with all the trimmings. We use the time to chat together, share stories and life events. Its great community to be a part of and explore faith questions together. We also run various one off events like curry nights or activities.
This is a great club for adults with learning disabilities to get together and have some quality social time together. We believe everyone has something to add and receive from community. Carousel Club is a time where adults who have a learning disability can come together to have fun and share life events together as a community. Contact Us for more information
We make a big deal out of Christmas and Easter. Every year we have meals, breakfasts, carols services, reflective services and socials. Keep an eye out on our social media pages to keep up to date with these events.
