Glebe Youth Group (GYG)

is a youth group organised by Glebe Chapel for young people of school years 6-11. GYG runs on Friday evenings from 7:30 to 9pm (term time only). It's only 50p to come along and there is a tuck shop each week too. Most evenings are based at Newent Community Centre where sports, games, activities are organised whilst also providing space to just chill. Occasionally, we run trips to special events too. GYG is run by a committed group of Glebe Chapel volunteers, who are enlisted in accordance with the Glebe Chapel Safeguarding Policy. Each week there is a short 'God Spot' which is taken by one of the leaders. This is a short talk based on a topic or issue relevant to young people from a Christian perspective. If you would like further information about the group or any of the activities that we do, please do not hesitate to contact one of the leaders who will be happy to help or look at the GYG Facebook page: GYG | Facebook

Sunday clubs

On Sunday mornings we run Sunday Clubs for children and young people. A chance to study the bible together during the sermon in a way that is directly relevant to children & young people. Young people are more than welcome to stay in the services on a Sunday.

Koffee & Kids

Friday mornings during term time we run a baby and toddler group for pre-school kids. Everyone is welcome to come and do crafts, run wild and have a chat with other parents/guardians.
