Walking into church for the first time can be daunting but here at Glebe we want to welcome you and make you feel at home. Free refreshments are served before and after the service, so please help yourself and we look forward to meeting you.
Our main service starts at 10.30am and lasts about 1¼ hours. Our songs are led from the front by a band and all the words are on the screen. We sing a mixture of contemporary songs and traditional hymns. We have a Bible reading and receive teaching on how to apply the Bible to our lives and aims to build us up, encourage us but also challenge us. There is a prayer team available for anyone wishing to receive prayer or help after the service.

What about my children?
Children and young people stay in for the first part of the service before going out to age-appropriate Sunday Clubs. A crèche is available for pre-schoolers and parents are welcome to stay with their child.
What shall I wear?
No need to dress up! Most people dress casually so just come as you are.
Where can I park?
There is plenty of parking at the rear of the Community Centre. From the traffic lights in front of the Community Centre, take the B4215 signed to Ledbury, after approximately 200 metres turn left opposite the fire station, turn immediately left again and follow signs for parking.
Our post code is GL18 1BD and more directions are here
Do I have to go upstairs?
The Glebe Chapel services are held upstairs in Newent Community Centre. There is a lift available as well as the main staircase. However, if you would prefer to stay on the ground floor, we relay a live video to the lounge downstairs so you won’t miss out.
